We love the idea of being able to personalize items. Especially when it comes to gift giving. So while Minted is well known for their holiday photo cards – they actually have so much more!
The Review Rundown:
I’m a regular at The Paper Source (and I really do love them), but my latest obsession is Minted. Not only was I able to get everything I needed when I was basically forced to throw a baby shower, but I was even able to get the gift all at the same time. Little did I know they had so much more than just trendy party planning essentials.
I haven’t had to throw a party in the last year for obvious reasons, but that doesn’t mean my online stalking of Minted has quieted down at all. Since I haven’t left the house in a bit I was able to successfully get all of my holiday cards with just a few quick clicks and now I’m not sure I ever really need to leave my house again. What I loved, loved, loved about their holiday photo cards is that they were actually funny. I’m not the type of gal who takes things too seriously so to basically depict what an absolute nightmare it is to get everyone in one photo and not looking like they just rolled out of bed is a complete miracle. So I’m glad their card options really matched my lifestyle.
What saved me a ton of time, too, was picking up some actual unique gifts. I always look for “unique” ideas, but I always still end up buying the latest Apple tech whatevers and when I think I’m being “really unique” I get a gift card that can be emailed. I know, I’m the worst. Minted has some truly different gift options that range from things like artsy tote bags, picture collage heart shaped prints, customized puzzles, personalized pillows and my personal favorite is their custom pet portraits.
Minted has a bunch of other things you should check out but, in full disclosure, I haven’t had to buy any of it yet; like wedding planning supplies, artwork, and stationary. But through all my shopping research and reviews, people are pretty obsessed with all of it. It’s just really refreshing to be able to buy things that you don’t see everywhere else.

Legit Pros:
- Their greeting cards are the best we’ve seen in a while (and funny too!).
- There’s always some kind of sale price or discount going on.
- The gift selection truly is unique and pretty amazing.
Legit Cons:
- I had a bit of a tough time with ‘designing’ one of my photo cards, but their customer service helped a ton.
- Standard shipping can take anywhere from 6 – 9 business days, which is a bit harsh for non-customized items.
The Real Deal With Coupons + Promo Codes:
I love hunting for a bargain just as much as the next person and since I’m a self proclaimed expert shopper and deal hunter, I’m happy to report that Minted is one of the best online retailers that basically gives away their promo codes and coupons! You don’t have to hunt for them at all. They actually list them all out right here.
I’ve looked for a wide variety of different codes online but, for real, it got way too confusing because all the codes seemed to have been other people’s names. That didn’t look right to me! So I just went to Minted’s website where I got 20% just for subscribing to their emails. Don’t worry, they don’t spam you. It’s actually helpful to get those friendly little reminders all throughout the year especially with so many different holidays throughout and they all seem to require some type of card or gift.
I also recommend following them on their official Instagram page and Facebook page because it’s one of the other great places to be in the know when it comes to exclusive coupons (especially during the holidays), sales, and overall inspiration.
